| The Saturday morning Men’s Bible Study group has concluded its study of Ecclesiastes and is beginning a study of Proverbs. If any men have thought they may desire to join the group, now is a great time (although there is never a bad time). The group meets at 7:45 a.m. each Saturday and catches up on all the happenings of the past week, including where the fish are biting. At 8:00 a.m. we have a time of prayer and then bible study, closing at 9:00 a.m. This is a small group of ordinary guys, and there is no prerequisite bible knowledge required. We take the verses one by one, studying their meaning at the time they were written and what they mean to us in our lives, in a world that encourages us to ignore God and his direction. We have experienced some great discussions, full of meaning and hope, all centered on God’s word. The group is very informal, and we think you would find that all of the participants consider it a very important part of their week. If you think you would enjoy such a group, we would love to have you join us.
